Construction Update - November 21st, 2025

Last week, the contactor removed the temporary pavement in the center lane of Arlington Heights Road and finished underground work for the new street lighting and traffic signals throughout the project area. The contractor also began to prepare concrete for the construction of the new medians.
Traffic remains in Stage 4 during this time, where drivers are using the outside lanes so the contractor can reconstruct the medians in the center lane. |

The contractor is actively working to utilize the warm weather conditions to maximize progress before temperatures drop for winter and work pauses temporarily ahead of final completion in 2026. This will allow for a new roadway that is safe, durable, and reliable. Additional schedule information will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
